**Ajustes > Alertas** (Settings > Alerts) configures **native system notifications** for app activity.

## What the section does

- Turns the desktop notification preference on and off.
- The preference is saved together with the app's other settings.

## Where the section exists

The section is **only mounted in the desktop app**. In the browser client it does not appear, because the
native notification is an operating-system feature — the browser cannot deliver it the same way.

## What decides whether the notification arrives

The app's preference is **one** of the conditions, not the only one. Delivery also depends on:

| Condition | Effect |
|---|---|
| Operating-system permission | Denied, no notification arrives |
| App state | Closed or suspended, the notification may not be delivered |
| System focus configuration | The system can silence notifications without telling the app |

> **The app does not promise that a notification will be delivered.** It promises that the preference was
> recorded. If something important depends on you seeing a warning, do not rely on the notification alone.
